To undertake the operational day-to-day supervision of Cafs, with organisation and planning of your allocated work before and after service and associated duties around opening times Be familiar with menu content, products on offer, all selling prices and details of other retail outlets (i.e., opening times) To be involved in the preparation of all foodstuffs, adhering strictly to standard recipes, production methods and checking of food and beverages served, for quantity, quality and appearance and maintaining standards of hygiene and temperature control as laid down in the kitchen HACCP. To ensure that all food items are displayed well and kept tidy throughout opening times Support the Food Service Manager, in implementation of all agreed working practices in order to ensure that visitors and staff have good shopping experience. Assist the Food Service Manager in opportunities to maximise income generation from Caf Glade & Crossroad Cafe. Co-operating with other members of the Catering Team to maintain and improve the present high standard of food service for Visitors, Staff and Patients The post holder is an ambassador for the Department and his/her actions and conduct will be judged by patients and visitors as an indication of the quality of service provided by the Department as a whole.
