Retail Store Manager
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Store Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will play a pioneering role in introducing our brand to the high street in our first ever London based retail store!
You will lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience whilst maintaining our brands core values of creativity, quality & pride.
Your Role
As Flagship Store Manager, you will lead the retail team to success with enthusiasm, dedication and a passion for all things P&Co.
Your responsibilities will include managing a team of Sales Associates, overseeing day to day running of the store, optimising stock packages, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work to achieve set KPIs and targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain staff productivity levels, set team KPI’s and oversee effective delegation of daily in-store responsibilities.
* Manage day-to-day operations of the team: Organise and lead staff meetings, briefings, performance reviews and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are being followed.
* Maintain excellent customer service and ensure staff are providing a high quality & on-brand experience in-store.
* Coach and mentor team in all areas of customer service and engagement, ensuring product and brand history knowledge is up to date and accurate.
* Be responsible for recruitment, attracting talent & maintaining a high-performing team.
* Partner with Senior Management to set general performance goals for the team to encourage personal development & address performance issues.
* Contribute towards achieving all financial and operational objectives including expense control, loss prevention, store inventory audits, and reporting to Senior Management as required.
* Support in the organisation of in-store marketing events and pro-actively grow professional relationships to increase brand awareness and drive traffic.
* Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met in accordance with guidelines set by Headquarters & ensure daily housekeeping standards are maintained on shop floor.
* Work alongside the Merchandising Manager to curate a successful stock package & ensure bestsellers remain well stocked.
* Model professional behaviour as an example to the team whilst promoting a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and creativity.
Requirements
* 3+ years in a Managerial role in fashion retail is preferred.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales and profit results, with strong business acumen.
* Proven ability to meet business goals through driving results in store. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and able to display good leadership qualities, enthusiasm to motivate and drive a team.
* Highly detail-oriented and excellent organisational skills.
* High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
* Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
* Ability to prioritize workload efficiently and able to work on a flexible schedule.
* Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.
* Reflects the aesthetic of P&Co through personal style and presentation.
