Job Description
Our customer, a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator company, is looking to hire a Senior Commercial Lawyer with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience with a major law firm and/or in-house experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Commercial contracts, including sourcing, Capex projects, contract manufacturing projects, etc).
This is a fast-moving environment, working on a variety of complex legal matters. You will be working in a team of qualified Lawyers initially remotely but then in one of the customer's many offices.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for you, if you have:
* At least 8 years post-qualification experience with a major law firm and/or in-house experience as a commercial lawyer in a pharmaceutical company.
* Significant experience, with at least some in a law firm or a multinational company’s corporate legal department working on a variety of Healthcare/Pharma business legal matters in the region, including previous experience of drafting, negotiating and closing business transactions
* Experience of the Pharmaceutical industry and previous exposure to Healthcare and Pharma industry regulations in one or several jurisdictions of EMEA
* Strong command of civil/administrative law; EU competition law understanding and international commercial law
* Experience of providing legal advice on all aspects of the company’s operations and initiatives, as well as structuring and negotiating a variety of strategic commercial contracts
* Transactions and contracts typically including a wide range of products, software, and service offerings.
* Experience on matters relating to EMEA and other sub-regions of EMEA.
Professional Qualifications:
* At least 8 years post-qualification experience with a major law firm and/or in-house experience.
* Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. (Desirable)
* Licensed Member of a bar of at least one state or UK / Common Law qualified.

* Excellent communication skills at all levels and who can give clear and precise advice without “legal jargon”

* Must be able to build excellent working relationships with internal clients and colleagues, promoting a creative and collegiate atmosphere.
