We are recruiting for additional Bank Support Workers to support a gentleman, 35 to live his life to the fullest. He lives in his own flat in Falkirk with his own garden and is active in the local community. He is supported 24 hours a day to ensure he's safe and can do the things he wants to do.
Experience of learning disability, autism, OCD and Epilepsy would be an advantage. He would love someone to join the team who will take the time to understand him. In his spare time he loves doing jigsaws, watching films, attending groups, being outdoors (especially going for walks) and spending time with my friends and family.
The team work really well together to ensure he has what he needs and help him with things like:
•Supporting me with medication
•Cooking and cleaning
•Managing my home and finances
We are seeking Bank/Casual Support Workers who can be flexible to needs and support during the week, at the weekend and overnight. The support worker team work from 10am - 10.15am the next day and there is a sleepover in place 10pm-7am Your values: I like to be supported by people who respect me and my home, but who also like to have fun!
I like people who are reliable, honest and calm, so that I can trust them and know that they have my best interests at heart.
