An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our new Urgent Response Team. You will be working as a Specialist Band 6 Physiotherapist. The team will work across the Salford Neighbourhoods, whilst assessing and treating patients in their own homes.
The Physiotherapy Department at Salford Care Organisation is one of the largest in Greater Manchester. We invest in our Physios and have a wealth of experience in the department including Advanced Practitioners, Clinical Specialist 8a's, Band 5, 6, 7's and Therapy Assistants. Service development and CPD is highly valued in the department.
You will work as a Specialist Band 6 Physio in an Urgent Response model, enabling patients with urgent health requirements to remain in their own homes. You will be supported by a large friendly department who continually strive for service improvement and the best possible outcomes for patients.
You will take a strengths-based approach to assess and treat patients with complex needs in line with the Urgent Response ethos. You will work in the hospital site and patients' own homes. Excellent communication skills are required to ensure the hospital and community teams are working towards a clear patient-centred plan. You will work with the MDT to formulate risk assessments and develop clear strength-based plans.
