Role: Apprenticeship Recruitment & Admissions Team Leader
Hours: 36.25 hours (Full Time)
Salary: £30,186 - £32,379
Location: Stretford (although requirements across the Group may require cover at other sites as agreed with Programme Leader/Head Of Apprenticeships)
The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Apprenticeship Recruitment & Admissions Team Leader to join the team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
The Role:
This is a new role within the Apprenticeship team following the introduction of a digital and centralised approach to Apprenticeship enrolment. As such you will play a key role in supporting colleagues with the new systems and processes; ensuring a high standard of quality is received by stakeholders throughout the recruitment and admissions process. You will track the progress of enrolments through the digital system, following up where needed to ensure that key performance indicators are met. In addition, you will provide updates to senior managers on the volume of enrolments currently in progress.
You will have direct line management of three Apprenticeship Recruitment and Admissions colleagues and as such will manage the workloads and performance of these individuals. You will be responsible for supporting them with CPD and conducting appraisals.
You will work closely with the Apprenticeship Compliance team, as well as delivery colleagues, to ensure that the enrolment process is efficient and effective, taking corrective action where needed.

1. Proven experience in implementing and monitoring administrative processes.
2. Excellent communication and leadership skills,
3. A proactive approach to problem solving.
4. Strong IT skills and the ability to extract and present key data from IT systems.
5. A desire to make improvements to existing ways of working.
6. A strong customer focused approach.
7. A commitment to promoting apprenticeships as a valuable career pathway.
8. Experience in the education or apprenticeship sector is preferred but not essential.
A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above is desirable but not essential.
