Role overview: Job Title: iLottery Financial Analyst Smartworking: Possible for this position Activities: - Business partnering with the technology organization and providing financial and accounting guidance for capital projects and annual maintenance deliveries. Advise on the accurate cost classification CAPEX vs. OPEX. - Partnering with technology to ensure maximum efficiency in their processes in order to avoid unnecessary costs and find ways to materialize efficiencies into cost avoidance/savings. Supports cost control by providing cost visibility and monitoring of metrics and KPI's. Develop R&Os for the technology and content organization. - Document and report Actual vs. Forecast variances for monthly CAO meeting. - Responsible for month end activities such as preparation of monthly journal entries, monitoring of various cost distribution models for over/under absorption and make necessary JE adjustments. Analyze and distribute disallowed cost charges. - Prepare standard reporting for forecasts and budgets. - Forecast/Budget (current year and 5 year plan) technology directly managed costs (personnel and staff augmentation primarily) in accordance with customer and R&D project demands. Support annual cost distribution models that set internal labor rates. - Work closely with the Project Mgr to track actual project costs and project forecast vs the original costing workbook, and negotiated deliverables. Monitor budget and forecast by WBS to provide early alert for run rate anomalies. Identify financial risks, develop and monitor mitigation plans together with the PM. Advise PM on the need for financial change requests. For each forecast revision, report project financials, and communicate new forecast or spend timing changes to Regional Finance. - Assist in the development and improvement of reporting systems and tools. Develop and implement improvements to various models, systems, and processes. - Prepare presentations monthly or quarterly as needed for VP and SVPs and provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis (e.g. Content and Product capitalization, among others). Requirements: - Fluency in English - Bachelor of Finance or Accounting - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, ability to manipulate data extracts using Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, sumif etc. - Skills and capabilities with SAP, BPC Planning Application, Clarity, Powepoint. Professional Experience/Seniority: 5years of experience preferred in Operations/ Technology Finance, Project Management, FP&A Keys to Success: - Advanced attitude in problem solving, including the ability see the big picture and to logically structure and implement an appropriate operational framework - Continuous improvements oriented - Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable to work remotely from various stakeholders - Abilities to communicate and coordinate with cross functional leaders (retail and FP&A finance, segment and technical accounting, operations, technology) located across multiple time zones.
