SEND KS1 Teaching Assistant - M20 Area Monarch Education are working in partnership with a small and friendly Primary school in the Didsbury area of Manchester. They are looking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 1 class. The school is well resourced and has a warm and welcoming environment for staff and children. You will be fully supported with CPD, training and resources. This role is ideal if you have career aspirations in the field of teaching, psychology, criminology, social work, probation services, care or if you simply love working with children R esponsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant include: Providing one-on-one, and group support to students with ASD, global development and SEMH needs. Working alongside teachers and other support staff. Creating a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere and environment. Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation Requirements of an SEN Teaching Assistant include: Desire to work with children with special educational needs.
