Vehicle Technician required in Liphook, Hampshire £32,000 - £45,000 per annum Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm Only Family Run Service Centre Vehicle Technician / Garage Mechanic Required for Family Run Service Centre in Liphook, Hampshire. We are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified Vehicle Mechanic to join our client’s busy Automotive Workshop in Liphook, Hampshire. The position is based on Monday - Friday 8:00 – 5.30pm. We do not open on Saturdays. As an experienced individual, you will be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs, servicing, and have a good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronics. Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician: Carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance of company and private vehicles as scheduled or required with due regard to quality procedures. Servicing, Oil Filter, suspension, brakes and pads Heavier mechanics; Clutches, Head gaskets, Timing Belts / Chains Comply with health, safety and environmental legislation and policies All makes and models general diagnostics Assist with other duties as required Essential Skills; Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Experienced in carrying out all classes of skilled work involving inspection and maintenance Experienced with modern diagnostic equipment and vehicle technology Computer & Electrical literate Has own tools and able to work self sufficiently in a workshop environment. The successful Mechanic / Vehicle Technician will ideally live within Liphook or be able to travel to the Liphook area and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
