The Role: An experienced IT Support Engineer is sought to focus on Azure and M365 multi-cloud environments, including Google and AWS. The role involves supporting, administrating, and maintaining hybrid cloud infrastructures that span distributed software applications, on-premises networks, and infrastructures. It requires a combination of hands-on implementation and client support. Responsibilities: Implement, optimize, and support Windows Server, Azure, and M365 environments to meet client requirements. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues at T3 and T4 levels, while assisting T1 and T2 teams with escalated tickets. Collaborate with team members to resolve tickets, ensuring SLAs and customer service standards are met. Maintain clear communication with clients and the team about problem-solving progress. Contribute to the knowledge base with documentation for recurring support issues. Implement best practices for hybrid and cloud security. Configure and troubleshoot cloud, hybrid, and on-premises networks, including VPCs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, NSGs, load balancers, firewalls, and SD-WAN. Administer and optimize virtualized environments using Hyper-V, VMware, and cloud-native solutions. Document processes and infrastructure configurations thoroughly. Comply with change management procedures. Key Requirements: Demonstrated experience in supporting and maintaining Azure and M365 environments. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD, Azure Security Centre, and M365 portals. Proficiency with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware. Networking expertise in firewalls, routing, load balancing, VPNs, DNS, CDN, and SD-WAN. Advanced troubleshooting skills in cloud, networking, and security domains. Experience supporting multiple clients in an MSP or similar environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel to client sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on-premises and cloud resources. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and AWSCloudWatch.
