Key Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive accounting and tax services to a diverse portfolio of clients
2. Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns, and management reports
3. Conduct thorough financial analyses and provide strategic business advice
4. Manage client relationships and act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts
5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication
6. Oversee junior staff and provide professional guidance and mentoring
7. Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations
8. Contribute to business development and new client acquisition
9. Participate in marketing and networking activities to grow the practice
Required Qualifications
1. Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
2. Minimum of 3-6 years post-qualification experience in practice
3. Strong understanding of UK tax legislation and accounting standards
4. Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
Desired Skills
1. Experience with SME and owner-managed businesses
2. Proven track record of client relationship management
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
4. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
