Description
The Responsible Business Lead plays a key role in shaping, managing and delivering our responsible business agenda, ensuring our B Corp accreditation is maintained and improved, and embedded across the Ampa group, while assisting in growing our business to be one of the most successful legal groups in the UK Top 30.
What you will be doing:
* Ensure progress is made against our Responsible Business goals and lead the reporting for our annual impact report.
* Drive the development and implementation of our responsible business goals to ensure they remain a clear priority in everything we do.
* Accountable for our Group Impact Report, reporting on all responsible business initiatives and ensuring an accurate reflection of our performance and future actions.
* Ensure adherence to and communication of our external pledges (Change the Race Ratio, Social Mobility Pledge, Disability Confident, Women in Law Pledge, Climate Pledge).
* Work closely with Director Culture & Sustainability to provide support and pro-bono advice on responsible business activity to clients and external networks.
* Lead our B Keepers, office hub Responsible Business Champions, Inclusion Groups, EDI Advocates and Net Zero Heroes to drive activity and engagement.
* Collaborate with Ampa Group Services Leads & teams to ensure Responsible Business action and impact is understood and actioned in their areas.
* Coach, develop and inspire the Responsible Business team to build capability & expertise.
* Support activity that fosters an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and supportive environment for all.
* Embed & grow our inclusion group network and EDI Advocates team through active participation and education.
* Ensure adherence to and communication of pay gap reporting annually.
What you will need:
* An excellent understanding of the responsible business agenda (equality, diversity, inclusion, community, wellbeing, charity, environment, B Corp accreditation) and related trends.
* Grit; determination to see things through and overcome blockers.
* Excellent influencing skills to navigate organisational challenges.
* Exceptional at driving team performance and building reputation across the group.
* Thrives in an agile environment – able to make things happen.
* Quick grasp of concepts.
* Excellent empathy and emotional intelligence.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with an ethical and transparent approach.
* Excellent written and presentation skills.
* Experience in coaching and educating individuals at all levels; proven ability in planning, organising, project management and delivery.
