Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work in a dynamic environment where the majority of the role focuses on purchase ledger management, alongside responsibilities in credit control, sales ledger, petty cash, and month-end tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the purchase ledger by accurately processing, matching, and reconciling supplier invoices.
* Assist with credit control and sales ledger duties to maintain smooth cash flow.
* Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring accurate documentation.
* Support the month-end process to contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, addressing and resolving queries efficiently.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role, with a strong focus on purchase ledger.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and SUM functions.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A full driving license is required.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
Salary: 30,000 per annum
