Position: Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative
Location: Biggleswade
Hours: 1 pm to 9 pm Monday to Friday
What is your role?
As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will help contribute to the day-to-day running of our outbound shift. Your role will involve driving our picking trucks and assisting with picking and packing when needed, ensuring all customer orders are met while maximizing efficiency and quality.
You will be responsible for making sure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and that all vehicles are loaded safely and correctly.
Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator who works well individually within a wider team environment. You are punctual, reliable, and keen to develop within your role. A basic understanding of English is required to comply with health and safety protocols.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Driving our picking trucks
* Performing general warehouse duties, including receiving, picking, and packing orders
* Operating warehouse machinery and equipment
* Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
* Conducting inventory checks and ensuring accurate stock levels
* Working collaboratively with other team members to meet targets and deadlines
* Following company procedures to ensure that best practices are observed and safe systems of work are being followed at all times

Who are you?
For this job, we have a couple of requirements:
* 1 year’s experience of driving LLOP, Hylop, PPT vehicles preferred
* Licenses are an advantage
* A focused and motivated individual with a desire to progress and develop
* Embraces change and finds new ways of doing things
* A keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of right first time
* Strong communication skills with a mature and professional approach
* A flexible attitude
