The Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a dynamic school in the Bargoed area. This full-time role involves working with pupils across a range of ages and abilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with a range of SEN requirements, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to provide consistent support for students. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and personal growth. Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each pupil’s development. Uphold school policies and contribute to a supportive and professional working environment. What We’re Looking For: Essential: Previous experience working with children and young people with SEN. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications. The ability to teach across different ages and abilities within the school. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
