You will provide leadership of the delivery teams/management driving the highest standard of delivery across each project phase from bid through execution & close out, driving consistent high standards, visible/predictable outcomes, and execution performance.
Key Duties & Accountabilities:
* Oversight of day-to-day delivery activities across all project phases from business development to execution & close out.
* Safety leader with an unwavering focus on personal and process safety.
* Accountable for bid/project/contract delivery.
* Accountable for bid/project resource management and recruitment.
* Support, challenge, and augment bid/project/contract delivery working closely with technical delivery management.
* Leadership of project performance against contracted scope delivery, driving delivery in line with internal/external commitments.
* Ownership of project “norms” to ensure all information remains current, capturing all lessons learned and applying them to subsequent scopes.
* Ensure agility and rapid mobilisation of bid/project teams.
* Direction of facilities decommissioning and facility enablement project management teams and integration with well decommissioning teams.
* Ownership of the development and implementation of new project management processes, procedures, & standards.
* Accountable for improving project delivery processes and procedures.
* Ownership of delivery governance and assurance activities.
* Accountable for representing the company with customers and stakeholders.
* Accountable for integration of services, supply chain, and with the wider Elemental group to support robust, predictable, and safe bid/project delivery.
* Accountable for driving Elemental culture and ways of working at all levels.
* Drive and challenge the norm of operation, fostering agility, adaptability, and openness into the organisation.
Person Specification:
Knowledge & Qualifications:
* Extensive knowledge of the upstream oil and gas value chain.
* Strong delivery acumen and detailed knowledge of wells/facilities decommissioning and facilities enablement for well abandonment.
* Strong knowledge of local and global regulatory regimes.
* Large network across the oil and gas value chain with knowledge of multiple regions globally.
* Technical/Functional degree qualified; PM qualification favourable.
Skills:
* Leadership of multidiscipline project delivery teams onshore and offshore.
* Proven skill set in integration of people and supply chain.
* Proven skills in process/procedure development, implementation, ownership of project management standards.
* Advanced skills in project controls (cost, schedule, risk, opportunity).
* Risk & opportunity management, delivery assurance & governance, resource management, supply chain management.
Experience:
* Grounding in a specialism (technical/operations) with generalist experience/knowledge of facilities & wells decommissioning & facility enablement for well abandonment.
* Contractor and/or operator experience.
* Track record in decommissioning (wells & facilities).
* Extensive experience in bid management, project set up, operations oversight and delivery.
