This is an exciting new opportunity to join us as a Support Worker, supporting families within our new Teulu project in the Vale of Glamorgan.
This is a permanent role working 36 hours per week.
You'll be required to work Monday to Friday with an expectation to work flexibly, as this service involves delivering support to individuals who may be working, studying, or have childcare commitments. Therefore, shifts may involve some evenings and weekend work to accommodate their needs.
What you'll do
You'll be providing housing-related support to families in line with Housing and Support Grant Outcomes. You'll be working within a physiologically informed environmental framework to support families to maintain their independence and build their resilience. You'll be collaborating with other agencies, partners, statutory services, landlords, community resources, and networks delivering support within agreed Person-Centered support plans.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you'll have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You'll need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships.
A qualification in Social Care or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
You will need a full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
