Salary: up to £49,500 depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, you will:
1. Develop data science products at scale.
2. Contribute to a cross-functional team to build machine learning products.
3. Impact the wider BBC data science community.
Are you the right candidate?
Key criteria:
1. Understanding and/or hands-on experience of data science techniques and machine learning algorithms.
2. Strong coding skills in Python.
3. Proven track record in technical machine learning projects.
4. Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Desirable experience:
1. Experience on ML projects from inception to delivery.
2. Theoretical understanding of recommender systems.
3. Experience with cloud services, ideally AWS.
4. MLOps knowledge.
5. Understanding of best practices such as testing and code management.
