What matters to us
* HNC or equivalent
* Prior experience in civil engineering projects of similar nature in a Document Control function
* Knowledge of the requirements and management systems procedures in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008 or ISO 9001:2015
* A qualification in Document Management would be highly desirable.
* Experience of working on large infrastructure projects in a similar role. Experience of ProjectWise / AssetWise.
Your contribution to our company
* Now named as Preferred Bidder on the HARP project in the north west of England, we wish to appoint several professionals across many disciplines, in this instance a Document Controller:
* Maintaining accurate records of all drawings and documents issued from suppliers and various internal departments to and from the Client.
* Helping the Lead Document Controller to produce, revise and populate the Master Document Register (MDR) or (Document Tracker) with all contract deliverables documents, including delivery durations and deadlines from the Accepted Program.
* Control documentation by printing, reviewing, and distributing electronically via the Client’s document management system (ProjectWise / AssetWise).
* Maintaining registers for Strabag and Client distributed documents in a controlled Document Control Centre (DCC) environment.
* Liaising with project disciplines to ensure documentation is submitted to the Client and suppliers accurately and efficiently on a timely basis.
* Managing the submission of all documentation to the Client and suppliers ensuring that all project specific submission requirements are met.
* Raising transmittal sheets and keeping the Strabag and Client distributed registers updated with each submission and filing submitted documentation in the relevant section in the project filing system on the server.
* Ensuring the documentation returned from the Client with comments is issued to the originator and ensuring the resubmission to the Client is on a timely basis.
* Collating information to produce various document management reports.
