IT Support Technician sought to resolve IT issues and incidents in the UK, with good all-round IT skills and experience in Networking, Routing, and Switching.
Our client is a successful company seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to be the first point of contact for the Global Services Desk, resolving IT related inquiries and incidents in the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
* Resolving day-to-day IT issues across all operational and support locations
* Recording IT support activities in the ITSM tool (ServiceNow)
* Maintaining the IT hardware register and replenishment policy
* Ensuring department policies and procedures are relevant and maintained
* Ensuring compliance with company, group, and legislative requirements
* Providing high availability of the Time and Attendance system
* Participating in company projects
* Providing innovative ideas and solutions to future-proof offerings to the customer base
Essential skills and experience include:
* Educated to GCSE level (including Maths and English) or equivalent
* Working knowledge of an IT service desk
* Strong technical knowledge/understanding of IT Infrastructure
* O365
* Proven experience of working with suppliers and internal customers
* Proven experience of working within a similar role
