CRG are looking for a Commercial Drainage Business Development Manager.
Scope of Role: The role of Business Development Manager will be responsible for a mixture of account management and large-scale project conversion, focusing on selling our Clients Commercial Drainage expertise across a range of large-scale contract clients.
This role will manage existing clients while hunting for new business opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for the commercial success of existing customer base as well as new, through pro-active engagement, development and management.
2. Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
3. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes and business presentations.
4. Manage tender submissions and paperwork.
5. Develop and deliver a strategy that builds first-class business relationships and increases selling opportunities across all service lines.
6. Manage multiple new prospect projects simultaneously with a high degree of organisation to ensure all prospects maintain regular communication and progress on their projects.
7. Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them.
8. Work with the Marketing team to create and implement these marketing strategies.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
1. A level or equivalent, especially in English and Maths.
2. Minimum of 5 years of Business Development experience in a senior-level position.
3. Exceptional negotiation, persuasion and judgment skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Possessing a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
6. Leadership and management skills.
7. Strong presentation skills.
