Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) is located on a beautifully green and pleasant campus just a few minutes’ walk from Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, and the old Roman city. Our story began in the 1860s as an Anglican teacher training college for women, which makes us one of the oldest Higher Education Institutions in the UK. Since then, we've grown, adapted, and modernised to become the thriving university we are today. We're still experts in teaching and education, but we've now got a wider portfolio of exciting degree courses than ever before.
