We strive to develop and promote from within whenever we can, so if you want to develop your career DX will provide the training and the opportunities Job Summary: The Traffic Supervisor will plan and organise the routes ensuring that the most efficient and cost-effective route is achieved each day. The aim of the role is to constantly improve and manage the cost effectiveness of route planning as well as record and demonstrate accurate routing and cost savings across the geographical territories operated within. Main Responsibilities Plan and implement all accurate routing for routes in conjunction with the Site Ensure all schedules are kept up to date and routes are planned, and legally compliant Ensure compliance with all security standards required surrounding Customer contracts. Undertake regular review of volume forecasts and amend resource planning as appropriate. Liaising regularly with the drivers to ensure the smooth delivery of goods within agreed time frames Liaise with customer where required, to ensure a swift resolution to any route planning related queries Ensure daily performance information is produced, variances investigated, and appropriate actions taken. Knowledge Skills & Experience Previous Knowledge of Transport planning/ Routing an advantage Good geographical knowledge IT literate - High level of competency with Excel Good administration skills and experience Excellent communicator Problem Solver - Deals with issues as they arise. Will escalate where necessary.
