Your responsibilities:
8. Supporting children across the curriculum
9. Recording and reporting a student's progress to the teacher
10. Managing behaviour and supporting the class teacher
11. Assisting with lesson plans
12. Assisting students during class making sure they are on track
13. Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all the children
14. Working with small groups and 1:1
15. Safeguarding children
16. Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress
17. Having a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
Essentials for getting cleared as a Teaching Assistant:
18. Relevant experience working with children, either personally or professionally
19. Eligibility to work in the UK
20. Classroom experience would be advantageous but not essential
21. Ability to communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents
22. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
23. DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
24. 2 recent Professional References
