Technical Sales Advisor
Our rural Leominster client is seeking a full time, permanent Technical Sales Advisor to join their friendly and knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending and selling appropriate components and systems to customers, providing a troubleshooting service should problems arise, and processing all associated administration.
What you can expect:
* Salary: £28’000 0 £38’000, depending on experience
* Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with a 30minutes lunch break
* 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service by 1 additional day per year, up to a maximum of 5 additional days)

What you will be doing:
* Maintain contact with new and existing customers via email, telephone, and visits
* Recommend and sell appropriate components and systems to meet customer needs
* Interpreting drawings and sketches, sizing and specifying systems and equipment
* Troubleshoot component and system problems and offer solutions
* Process sales orders, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within the internal CRM system
* Deal with customer enquiries and liaise closely with the team to reach a positive resolution
* Generate new sales opportunities
* Keep up to date with industry developments and new products
* Attend trade shows and events to represent the company and promote products
What we are looking for:
* Working knowledge and understanding of electrical systems or the renewable energy industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly collaborative and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
* Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend trade show
* Enjoys working with a distribution and customer facing environment
