We are recruiting for an ADAS Application Engineer for our customer. \nRoles and Responsibilities: \n\nLead the development and delivery for ADAS Technology Applications for Electric and Commercial Vehicle programmes \nSupport feature definition for new programme content - interfacing with Planning, Marketing and Program Management to establish business cases for new DAT technologies \nLead engineering tasks to support product development milestones and gateways: design, develop, release, test and launch content to meet specification requirements and program targets \nSource and lead commodity suppliers to project manage commitments and delivery \nLead ADAS hardware and sensors interface compatibility and trade-off studies \nDevelop and capture new Electric and Commercial Vehicle customer specific requirements \nEnsure that assigned systems, components, attributes, deliverables comply with regulatory and safety requirements \nSupport packaging of parts to meet CAD and CAE requirements \nPlan, coordinate and test design verification and sign-off testing at component and vehicle level \nDefine and support target setting for program objectives (attributes, cost, quality, and timing) \nEnsure adequate specifications and quality records are defined and maintained \nSupport launches and prototype builds resolving issues for vehicle assembly and production \nSupport systems, manufacturing, diagnostics, and end of line compatibility \nUse lessons learnt, and FMA process for continuous improvement \n \n What you bring along: \n Skills required: \n\nKnowledge of Ford Global Product Development System and Ford Engineering Tools and Processes: VSEM, GPDS, eFDVS, AVBOM, WERS, AIMS, Teamcenter \n \nExperience required: \n\nExperience in electrical or electronic systems, hardware and\/or software development and Project Management. PD processes, design methodologies, software and requirements management. \n \nExperience preferred: \n\nSystems engineering, vehicle testing, automotive electronics \n \nEducation required: \n\nRelevant Automotive, or Engineering degree (Electrical \/ Electronic Engineering Degree preferred) \n \n Position is confirmed inside IR35. Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK.
