Job Elements
* Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production plans and coordinating production schedules to optimise capacity utilisation and to meet customer requirements.
* Ensures availability of materials and labour to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.
* Monitors and maintains inventory levels of finished goods.
* Create and maintain production plans to meet customer demand while ensuring maximum efficiency for the business.
* Scheduling of the production lines for different product groups and associated assemblies, factoring in production routing time and material lead time.
* Ensure all paperwork is issued to production in a timely and controlled manner.
* Monitor production performance versus expected / planned, and provide reports to the management team and suggestions on increasing efficiency.
* Working closely with Purchasing Department to check adequate material availability, management of any constraint issues and running material simulations to identify risks to targeted build plans.
