This role has responsibility for supporting a specific site predominantly within a Theatre/Endoscopy environment with the aim of maximising the customers up-time of Olympus and third-party equipment that fall into the service contract agreement. This role will act as a key point of contact for the site and be able to be a pivotal role of communications between all stakeholders and the customer to improve delivery of service and sales.
Your responsibilities
* This role will be based on-site within Kings College Hospital London.
* Shall implement and work to all applicable regulatory and quality requirements as stipulated within the KeyMed Quality Manual, Quality Policy, and Quality Objectives.
* Shall implement and work to all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives.
* On-site customer training and user support.
* Level 1 and 2 Machine repairs.
* Assist staff with Theatre set up.
* Working with the Sales team in product introduction and future sales.
* Stock control management of components held on site.
* Loan inventory support including arranging with internal stakeholders.
* Management of PPM’s, Installs and repairs in line with KPI’s.
* Be an Ambassador for Olympus.
Qualifications
* A HNC qualification, or equivalent is desirable, within Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
* Previous experience within an engineering role would be advantageous.
* Any professional experience within a Medical field / Engineering would be advantageous.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and be pro-active to change is essential.
* Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
* Competent with MS suite including Excel.
* Must hold high attention to detail and the ability to identify customer needs.
* Hold the ability to be discreet and handle confidential and sensitive information.
Physical requirements
The role requires you to be on your feet for extended periods of time during your general day to day activities which include walking between sites. Some travel will be required to visit subsidiary companies and suppliers.
