This position is for a Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment in a heavier manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of the Maintenance team to ensure operational excellence.

Description
* Routine servicing.
* Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve at the press with minimal downtime to aid production.
* Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
* Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations.
* Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality of parts produced.
* Identify spares requirements and log usage.
* Preventative and reactive maintenance on mould injection machinery and robotic machinery.
* Test and confirm electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic operations of mould injection machines.
* Maintain the highest standards of workmanship at all times.
* Be actively involved in improvement activities to support the achievement of departmental and company objectives.
* Ensure risk assessments are available, read, and understood for each activity undertaken.
* Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) methodology to maintain the workplace to a high standard.
* Promote environmental issues and ensure all company procedures are understood and followed.
* Undertake special projects as required.
* Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
* Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating Weekly
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer/Technician, experienced working in a manufacturing environment, as well as:
* A recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or similar ideally)
* 17th/18th Edition trained
* Hydraulics/Pneumatics experience is required
* Injection moulding machinery experience would be beneficial
* Strong communication skills
