DP World are currently recruiting for a Training Coordinator to join our established site based in Hinckley. In this role working in a team you will deliver essential training to our operations teams and manage our employee training matrix. You will be required to work on a Mon-Fri shift pattern of 12pm – 8.30pm with some flexibility for slightly earlier starts or later finishes occasionally. You will either have previous warehouse training experience or have held a Senior Warehouse Operations role (such as Senior Operator/Team Leader etc) and have thorough knowledge of health and safety practices and standard work procedures.
About the role:
* Daily operational management of the training requirements across the site.
* Conduct staff inductions/process training.
* Creation of training plans in regard to: new business, organisational needs, employee development.
* Course development/instructional design.
* Develop and maintain training material.
* Coordinate all training requests/needs within the Hinckley facility.
* Report training progress and evaluate training effectiveness.
* Correct/transparent registration of all training activities.
* Ensuring the implemented training process meets the organisational needs.
Your Key Skills:
* Previous experience of warehouse training either as a dedicated trainer or a senior operator/team lead.
* Strong knowledge of and proven adherence to health and safety protocols.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong IT/Excel and communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Didactical knowledge.
* HBO level knowledge and experience.
* Experience creating training plans.
* Leadership skills.
* Experience delivering training.
* Organisational skills.
* Instructional design knowledge.
