The Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in an international business environment, with excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. As Customer Service Representative for our Dry Bulk Business Unit you will work closely with colleagues across Europe and will gain logistics industry experience that is second to none.
In this role you will be the main contact person for your customers. From the moment they send a transport request you take responsibility for managing and completing the orders, including necessary administration (from order to invoice). You will be the logistics expert who answers all of your customer´s queries, handles compliments and complaints, solves problems, implements new lanes, and carries out financial and operational analyses to help drive continuous improvements.
Together with your colleagues, you will create innovative transport solutions in order to maintain efficiencies and grow existing business. You will be agile, constantly switching between customer service, liaising with operations, discussing sales developments, and working on improvements.
Successful candidates
Will have strong organisational skills, be an excellent communicator and eager to understand all aspects of our business. As the main point of contact for your customers, you will provide excellent customer service and are driven to make this happen. Furthermore, you will have:
* A minimum of two years customer service experience in an office based environment, ideally in logistics, grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English or relevant degree plus some work experience in a customer facing role
* Outstanding sense of responsibility, with a pro-active and structured approach to customer centricity
* Strong team player
* Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure, and able to adapt quickly to market changes - internally and externally, with a willingness to respond rapidly and flexibly to customer demands
* Excellent and accurate verbal and written communication skills
