* Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Full-time, long-term position starting immediately (to run for the remainder of the academic year)
* Earn up to £520 per week as a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Graduates with a degree in a core, academic subject are welcome to apply
* School is located near central Newcastle (with excellent transport links)
* Work with KS3 and KS4 students (in particular, those studying for GCSEs)
* Support targeted or borderline students within your department to help them achieve target grades
* Mentor high-achieving students to reach their potential, inspiring academic excellence and interest in learning
* Encourage high student aspirations, helping them to understand their own potential and motivate them to achieve
* Great opportunity for aspiring teachers or educational practitioners
* Previous relevant experience is preferred but not essential

As Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other education support staff to work closely with students in the classroom, as well as 1:1 and in small-group settings. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire more able students to achieve their potential by instilling an interest and motivation for learning in them. You will also work with targeted or borderline students to help boost their achievements to reach their potential. The Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant role will include a mixture of practical and theoretical tasks to provide a well-rounded experience for both the students’ education, and your own skillset.
