SSD Technician/Nottingham/Tollerton/Ad-hoc Shifts Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an SSD Technician to join the bank team. Duties and responsibilities: Under general supervision, with opportunity to make independent decisions, performs duties that will include receiving, sorting, inspecting, cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, preparing, sterilizing, storing and issuing reusable surgical instruments and equipment. To assist the multi-disciplinary theatre team to provide exemplary care by ensuring theatre and endoscopy instrumentation and equipment are correct and ready for use. Undertake routine tasks related to individual's health and well-being. Production and communication of information and knowledge Contribute to own personal development. Assist in maintaining own and others' health and safety and security.
