Overview
The Traveling Solar Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of solar installation projects. This position requires steady travel to project sites to manage day-to-day construction activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain project timelines and quality. The role demands strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of solar installation processes, and the ability to effectively manage teams and resources across diverse environments.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise and manage all on-site activities for solar installation projects.
2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site-specific protocols, and company policies.
3. Coordinate and communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project flow and resolve issues.
4. Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking timelines, resources, and budgets.
5. Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues that may arise during installation.
7. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, site logs, and material inventories.
8. Oversee site safety, including conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring all personnel follow proper safety protocols.
9. Train and mentor on-site staff, ensuring they are up-to-date with best practices in solar installation and safety.
10. Travel frequently to various project locations to manage operations and ensure successful project completion.

Pay Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
