Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inspection Technician or Trainee Inspection Technician (someone who is perhaps working as a machinist and inspects their own work). Someone who is eager to learn and grow within our client's Gloucester based manufacturing organization.
Ideally, you are someone who aspires to progress into a quality engineering / management role who is also interested in expanding your skills in quality/ environmental standards and certifications (training provided).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with precision manufacturing standards.
Perform dimensional verification and visual examinations to identify defects or irregularities.
Collaborate with the quality management team to implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 9001 (training provided to audit ISO 9001).
Assist in maintaining accurate records of inspections and quality control activities.
Interpret technical specifications and drawings to ensure products meet customer design and specifications.
Participate in first article inspections and create relevant documentation.
Document non-conformances and communicate with necessary personnel to resolve issues.Learning and Development Opportunities:

Strong understanding of precision manufacturing principles, including tight tolerances and high accuracy requirements.
Familiarity with inspection equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.Ideal Candidate:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of quality control principles (training will be provided).
