We are seeking an individual with a background in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts preparation, who haspleted the AAT qualification and has begun ACCA studies. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience in Public Practice including a robust understanding of double-entry accounting. The role requires a highly motivated self-starter who can meet deadlines, work effectively within a team setting, andmunicate effectively with both colleagues and the firm’s Managers and Partners. Organizational skills are important, as is the ability to multitask and assist with ad hoc assignments. You must be able to convey information clearly and accurately to clients. Attention to detail is crucial, as is working within budgets, resolving client queries, and liaising with managers and supervisors as needed. Experience with the CCH software package and cloud-based systems such as Quickbooks, Xero, and SAGE, along with Dext is desirable. Good IT skills, including proficiency in accounting software, Word, Excel, and other Windows-based systems, are also essential.
