We are currently recruiting for a full-time Bonded Warehouse Line Manager to join our team here at Robb Brothers Wine Merchants.
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who will be a key support to our Warehouse Operations Manager by helping to plan, direct and coordinate the smooth efficient running of the day to day warehouse operational activities. You will lead our bonded warehouse by picking and assembling goods while maintaining accurate and up to date administration records and stock rotations.
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday
Location: Lurgan
May include overtime during busy periods of year.
Responsibilities
1. Lead on all Bonded Warehouse projects
2. Assemble orders accurately in a timely manner
3. Shrink wrap pallets as they are being assembled
4. Clearly label/identify each pallet correctly
5. Clean up any breakages/damages and report/log to Senior Management
6. Unload/load lorries safely & efficiently with correct stock
7. Manage stock rotation and all UB administration records
8. Liase with other UB team members and support Senior Management in the strategic development plan for the warehouse function
9. Identify operational issues and report to Senior Management
10. Manage end to end processes ensuring they are completed for all accidents and incidents, complete investigations and cascade the information to Senior Management
11. Attend any relevant training sessions to ensure that you are fully equipped to perform your role effectively and assist in the development of continuous improvement
12. Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure the safety and health of yourself and other team members
13. Manage and conduct work activities in such a way as to prevent any improper conduct or behaviour
Qualifications & Key Skills/Experience
1. Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills
2. Eligibility to work in the UK
3. 1 year experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
4. Experienced in planning and managing warehouse operations
5. Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner with excellent attention to detail
6. Must be comfortable working well under pressure and to tight deadlines
7. Good organisational, administration and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment
8. Good team member with a flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to lead & direct
