Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - Bradford/Haverhill
We are looking for caring registered nurses to join our exceptional nursing team in our beautiful Rehabilitation Hospital, located on Ward Hill in Haverhill, Mass. We offer a variety of schedules.
Registered Nurse - multiple shifts available
Full-Time, 40 hours/week - 3pm-11pm - $5000 sign on bonus
Base pay up to $45
Differentials - $8 weekday, $10 weekend
Part-Time or Full-Time, 7pm-7am - sign on bonus available
Base pay up to $45
Differentials $8-$15 depending on days worked
Per Diem shifts also available: $47 or $50, depending on hours worked
Differentials: $8 -$15 depending on shifts/days worked
Essential Duties:
1. Assess physiologic response to interventions and report findings to the interdisciplinary team.
2. Provide compassionate patient-centered care through the development of an individualized plan of care.
3. Conduct patient rounds, report problems to nursing supervisor and initiate corrective action.
4. Administer and document medication, enteral nutrition and treatment per best practices and accurately record all care provided and observations daily.
5. Perform comprehensive assessments of each patient on the unit.
6. Assess on a weekly basis the skin condition, stage, size, site, depth, color, drainage and odor of condition.
7. Delegate clinically appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
8. Assume responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the assigned unit.
9. Work collaboratively with Clinical Nurse Managers and/or Director of Nursing utilizing a shared governance model.
10. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to assure that high-quality patient care is maintained.
Prerequisites:
1. Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing.
2. Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
3. Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support in accordance with AHS or ARC standards.
4. ACLS preferred.
5. Knowledge of Critical Care and Med/Surg preferred.
