Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Surveyor for our client in Kingston.
This role will ensure that all temporary accommodation owned and managed properties are maintained to the highest standards, complying with statutory and regulatory requirements, while delivering high-quality service to staff, residents, and property owners.
This is a full time, temporary assignment offering £25 per hour Umbrella LTD (£20 per hour PAYE).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inspections and ensure properties meet required technical standards.
* Carry out various inspections, including: Damp and structural inspectionsInsurance and disrepair inspectionsHealth and safety estate inspections
* Provide technical expertise to staff, clients, and residents.
* Diagnose and address issues, ensuring high-quality maintenance and repairs.
* Work with contractors, manage repair orders, and oversee site operations.
* Review and control repair and maintenance costs, ensuring best value outcomes.
* Prepare specifications, works programs, reports, and correspondence related to issues found during inspections.
* Use diagnostic equipment to identify causes of damp and mould.
* Respond to tenant queries and ensure appointments for inspections are met.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Recognized building-related qualification (minimum HND/HNC level).
* Qualified in Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
* Proven experience in diagnosing and remedying damp and mould issues.
* Experience monitoring external contractors and managing budgets.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle
