We are looking for a user & data driven enthusiastic Product Manager to join us and work on one of our key data and management information (MI) products.
As a DWP MI Product Manager, you will lead high profile products for our large and complex DWP MI programme.
You and your role
This is a Product role with Data and Users at its core. You'll be in the DWP MI (Management Information) team leading work on MI reporting and visualisations across the UK's largest government department.
You will be as passionate about people as you are about products, leading teams to define, design and deliver your vision and realise the value for your users.
You and your multi-disciplinary team will use Power BI (and similar) to enable the business to gain insight and make more informed decisions.

Our work is fast paced with a large and growing portfolio of flexible and responsive MI products that are relied upon by all, from front line managers to the Secretary of State.
You'll be part of a supportive and expert team. We work together to design and build the right things so that DWP can put better products and services in the hands of our people and our users.
Please note that this role will require working with Secretary of State, with regular and short notice travel to London a requirement.

Experience of creating and communicating a product vision and roadmap, getting stakeholder buy in Engages and influences key senior stakeholders, actively contributing to strategic discussions at executive level, particularly focused around the use of data Made effective choices based on incomplete information using a range of suitable techniques Prioritised backlogs based on user needs, value and effort Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team, applying an agile methodology and mindset in a complex environment

Location: You'll join us in your choice of our digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £66,058
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth over £16k.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days a year and rising to 31 days over time.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
