£35,000 - £38,000 basic, plus benefits
Client, Job Role, and Expectations
With 50+ years' experience within the industry, Finstral has developed an enviable reputation as a leading manufacturer and installer of doors and windows and associated products, providing continuous solutions and ongoing support to their client base as a one-stop shop.
The business has achieved strong YOY growth across Europe but is now looking to increase its presence in the UK through its market potential and business strategy. Finstral currently has a turnover of circa €350 Million and is looking to increase this substantially within the UK market.
To support and achieve these objectives, Finstral is partnering with Charlesworth Kennedy to appoint several key personnel, one of these being a Technical Support Operative. It is anticipated that this will be one of the first steps in developing the wholly owned subsidiary in the UK, including a full team of professionals and customer support.
Key Accountabilities include:
1. Becoming the go-to person in the UK for product knowledge and support
2. Recording customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
3. Installing updates to software and operating systems
4. Giving accurate quotes to customers and clients
5. Acting as the go-between HQ, manufacturing, and the customer
6. Being the face and guide for customers around the showroom offering technical advice
Experience
1. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be technically minded, and have experience with associated software packages.
2. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of technical knowledge in the fenestration industry.
3. However, individuals from allied sectors such as architectural ironmongery, security and supplies into construction distributors, architects, service engineering, specifiers, or contractors will also be considered.
4. The ability to absorb new product information is also important.
*There will be a full month's training provided in Holland on the product range and software*
Package / Remuneration:
The remuneration package offered at this stage is subject to the experience of the candidate but will likely include the following:
1. Basic Salary: Between £35,000 - £38,000
2. Additional: Health, Pension, laptop, mobile phone
