Main duties of the job As our new HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include: As an integral part of the regional management team by developing effective working relationships, influencing change and providing constructive challenge Ensure management capabilities within the region/s is developed to meet required standards, lead the analysis of management capability and succession planning Equip managers with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their teams; act as the change advocate encouraging buy-in with approaches to increase management capability and utilise services delivered via the HR helpline Lead the development and implementation of a regional People Plan to support our People strategy of: Get, Grow, Keep and support services to develop local People Plans Provide expert advice and guidance in support of transformational change, restructures, TUPE and redundancy; ensure commercially focussed approach to improve cost and efficiency Support and maintain oversight of all employee relations activity within your regions, to ensure employee relations are effectively managed and supported, with conclusion of cases within reasonable timescales To work in partnership with the Recruitment team to ensure all vacancies within the relevant services are filled cost effectively and with minimal time to hire periods.
