Key Responsibilities: As a supply teacher, you will: Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. Maintain a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular class teacher. Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour management strategies, to support students in achieving their learning objectives. Provide feedback on the lesson and pupil progress to the school’s staff as required. Be adaptable and prepared to step into different classroom environments, quickly building rapport with students and staff. Uphold the high standards of professionalism and enthusiasm expected by Teaching Personnel and our partner schools. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching in secondary schools is highly desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly in different settings. A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching. Flexibility and reliability to support schools at short notice. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
