About Our Client
My client is recruiting for a Management Accountant role in Redhill.
Job Description
3. Management Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying variances from actuals.
5. Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and profit maximisation.
6. Financial Planning: Support strategic planning by providing financial projections, scenario analysis, and financial modelling.
7. Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads and senior management to provide financial guidance and support on key business decisions.
8. Variance Analysis: Analyse variances between actual results and budget/forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
9. Compliance & Controls: Ensure financial processes comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal controls.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
11. Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
12. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
13. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
14. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
16. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
17. Potentially working towards an Accountancy qualification.
18. Preferably have had previous experience working as a Management Accountant.
