Contract Manufacturing Engineer (6-Month) – Pioneering Composite Technologies Our customer is embarking on a series of large-scale, game-changing programmes focused on delivering cutting-edge innovations in composite technologies across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Leadership : Lead manufacturing processes and tackle challenges on the shop floor. Implement best practices across operations. Quality & Improvement : Develop quality control processes, drive continuous improvement, and maintain manufacturing governance. Data Analysis : Analyse cycle times, reliability, and downtime to optimize manufacturing performance. Process Engineering : Identify risks, improve processes, and manage cost, time, and quality. Research & Development : Lead manufacturing-related research projects to solve engineering challenges. Lean & Root Cause : Apply Lean Six Sigma techniques and lead root cause analysis to improve processes. Composite Manufacturing : Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes is a bonus. Experience: A minimum of 5 years working in a Manufacturing Engineering role for a Automotive, Aerospace, Defence or other transferable sector is a necessity.
