The Role The Industrial Services Engineer provides day to day support, maintenance & improvements of site services including liaising with OEM's and contractors for specific support. Recommend and implement improvements relating to efficiency and energy saving. Responsibilities Own service areas- boiler house, compressors house, etc. Steam Boilers - daily/weekly tests and water treatment checks. Manage water treatment chemicals stocks. Assist with statutory inspections of lifting equipment & pressure systems. Management of replacement parts associated with site services assets Compressor houses daily walk through, water traps etc. Fire suppression pump house look over system, weekly tests/inspections Support centre & DC plant room inspection Weekly site fire alarm testing Legionella prevention- tests & inspections Energy consumption - understand & measure impact, report Steam line modification & repairs including trap testing & repairs. Compressed air lines, mods, leak testing & repairs Knowledge, skills and experience Experience of operating and conducting routine checks on steam boilers and water services An understanding & experience of building services & maintenance Possess sufficient skills to perform tasks listed below i.e., steam boiler training, plumbing, mech services, basic elect. Relevant apprenticeship Member of recognised professional body preferred - IET/IMech E, ICT/Institute of Mechanical Engineering NEBOSH with a sound knowledge of behavioural safety at a site level Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing and Best Practice Maintenance Legionella and HACCP awareness Experienced in the use and operation of CMMS Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Reliability Management expertise (FMECA, BDA CBM, TPM etc) The Offer Location: Kinmel, North Wales Salary: Competitive 10% annual company bonus scheme Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday Pension: Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%(salary sacrifice company pension scheme) Holidays: 25 days Bank Holidays Medicash Plan Enhanced maternity/paternity/pawternity Other Benefits: Free parking, tasty treats, bring your dog to work, discounted products & free hot drinks Choice of a series of non-contractual flexible benefits, including cycle to work, workplace nurseries and dental insurance.
