Job summary A vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Assistant with a bias for electrical work has arisen within the Estates Maintenance Department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post is based at Castle Hill Hospital but they may be required to work at all Trust property so the applicant is required to hold a full driving license to undertake driving duties. Main duties of the job The main job purpose of the role is to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to carry out basic repairs and planned maintenance tasks throughout the Hospital and other premises. The vacancy requires participation on a partial shift system Rota and the successful candidate will be required to provide sickness and annual leave cover for the various sections and stores duties. The successful candidate will have relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience and must be able to demonstrate experience of maintenance activities including Portable Electrical Appliance Testing and/or Steam Boiler operation and maintenance.
