Step Teachers are working with a school looking for a qualified Health and Social Care teacher who is enthusiastic about educating the next generation of Health and Social Care Professionals. As a Health and Social Care teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons that cover various aspects of Health and Social Care. This is a Long-Term Supply role starting in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities of a Health and Social Care Teacher:
1. Teach Health and Social Care courses to a diverse group of students.
2. Develop curriculum materials related to Health and Social Care.
3. Provide support and guidance to students pursuing careers in Health and Social Care.
4. Assess and monitor student progress in Health and Social Care.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Health and Social Care program.
6. Stay current with developments in the field of Health and Social Care.
7. Promote Health and Social Care education within the school community.
8. Plan and implement high-quality lessons for KS3 and KS5 learners.
Qualifications of Health and Social Care Teacher:
1. Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. The ability to teach Health and Social Care at Second level.
3. A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
4. Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in Health and Social Care.
5. Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care principles and practices.
6. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
7. Passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in Health and Social Care.
