Are you an experienced plumbing and heating professional with a passion for nurturing the next generation of industry leaders? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Apprenticeship Team as an Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinator.
About the Role:
As an Apprenticeship Training Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting and developing apprentices undertaking their Plumbing and Domestic Heating Apprenticeship. You will work closely with apprentices, employers and the curriculum delivery team to ensure a rewarding and successful apprenticeship experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and Mentor Apprentices: Guide apprentices through their apprenticeship journey, offering support and mentorship to help them thrive.
Conduct Workplace Reviews and Assessments: Regularly evaluate apprentices’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear, personalised learning plans.
Liaise with Employers: Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, ensuring that apprentices receive valuable on-the-job training and experience.
Motivate and Inspire: Foster a positive learning environment that encourages apprentices to achieve their goals and consider further study or career progression.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
Experience: Proven experience as a qualified Plumber with a strong understanding of electrical installation and maintenance.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships quickly.
Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for developing the future professionals of the industry.
