Wood is currently recruiting for a AVEVA Net Administrator (contract) with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical, renewable energy and energy transition industries. This is a staff position supporting a number of FEED and EPC petrochemical, Oil & Gas and energy transition projects. The position will be based in our Reading office with Hybrid working considered. LI-Hybrid The Role The AIM Administrator is accountable for the configuration, deployment and ongoing support of Project AIM instances. As the AIM Administrator you will have responsibility for establishing environments which provide the ability to visualise, interrogate, compare and handover information to internal and external Project stakeholders. Expected: Have extensive experience in fully installing AVEVA products, primarily AVEVA AIM database deployment, Vizstream servers and AVEVA Workhub, including AIM database/Import Controller and understanding of Bootstrap file concepts Have excellent experience of the AVEVA Registers Gateway for both on-premise and AIM-A solutions, including Data Publisher and associated modules Have a solid understanding of Class Library development using AVEVA ISM Be proficient in the use of reporting technologies such as SSRS and Power BI, especially utilising the reporting database populated by the Registers Gateway and be familiar with the processes to embed these reports into AIM SQL server experience including T-SQL, Linked Servers and Stored Procedures Extensive experience of .NET programming, XML, SQL and Oracle databases Proficient in the use of legacy Gateways including Data Extractor, Document Indexing Gateway and the Gateway Configuration Tool. Use of these Gateways should be underpinned by a good understanding of project design systems (primarily AVEVA & Hexagon) and common project data sources A solid understanding of project execution (pre-FEED, FEED, EPC & PMC) related to deliverable production, data management, information lifecycle and inter-dependencies Desirable: Preferably the candidate should have an Engineering biased degree or extensive relevant industry Project execution experience
